As the Earth goes round,
Time soon flies;
Summer comes,
And the love bug bites.
Rains pour down,
On the heated passion,
Might quench the flames
And tears may fashion.
Autumn comes,
And leaves begin to fall,
Like lovers fall out,
As the heart can't play ball.
Snow begins to fall,
On barren lands,
Extinguishes the ember,
To ashes and sand.
Ever hopeful,
The spring dances in,
Finds new faces,
To fill the holes in.
Maybe this time will find,
A love that stays,
'A love for all seasons',
Like they say.
