Catch Me

If I wanted love,
Like I need it now...
I'll come to you
With my eyes closed,
My arms open...
That's how much
I trust...
How much I believe...
That I can blindly
Stumble in the dark
And never fall...
Cause if I do...
It'll be into your arms.

Leaving Home

Listen to me
I know when I speak
I'm not a child
I don't need to be led by hand

Hear me out
I know when I speak
I can do this myself
Though I realize you mean well

Look at me
(Don't you see me?)
I know when I speak
I'm not that small girl any more

Feel me now
I know when I speak
I can stand on my own
I'm stronger now

Listen to me
I know when I speak
Thank you for everything
But now I have to go

Hear me out
I know when I speak
Time will soon blow me out
Like wind a flame

I have to go
I know when I speak
Truth and lies and fairy tales
All the time I love you too

But yet!
I have to go...

Trapped

To be trapped in a nutshell
That is so gay,
Don't know if it would be worse
Had it been grey.

Will my keepers always stay?
Will I never see the sun,
To show me freedom and light my way?
Will they always keep me mum?
Trapped by glory,
Trapped by insanity,
Trapped by baseless values,
Trapped like an ant in bright dew.

To everyone it looks beautiful,
Except to the one inside.
The child who never cries,
Who's too much alive.

Will there be no escape?
Will it always be this way?
Heavens send me an angel
Please, to unlock my own days.

Dream World

Wanted to be alone,
But now I'm with you.
Don't know why,
But I hope it's true.
The times I cried,
You wiped my tears,
Told me it'll be alright,
Made me believe it's real.
If this is my fantasy,
I want it alive -
'Cause it's my dream world,
With you and I.

It Doesn't Make Sense

Staring out the window
Eyes fixed, mind wandering
Wondering, 'Just what the hell am I thinking? '
Nothing makes sense
Nothing matters
It doesn't even bother
To be unnoticed, unwondered
'Unwondered'? Here's another
Nothing makes sense
But then, nothing matters.

Still staring out the window
Seeing the kids come in
Empty classes filling in
Groups, individuals and what not
Nothing makes sense
But then again, nothing matters.

For one last time
A last look around
Your last year in your first school
A last look at your first home
Bell rings, I wake up.

What happened?
It doesn't make sense
And I don't know if it matters.

I See You

I see you with me
Though blind I maybe,
By the love that keeps me
Safe in your arms.

I see you with me
Through the tears that tear me,
Keep me safe, I begged
Hold me tight, I said.

I see you with me
In forever or eternity,
And whichever it maybe
I see you with me.

My Mind

Quiet, yet not silent
Hiding, yet not hidden
Trying, may be not enough
Living, but more still to come.

Words

Now lying in silence
Since words can't 'explain',
Useless violence -
The whole world will disdain.

A war of losers,
Neither gives in;
No one is fuller
From plentiful sin.

Finally negotiation,
The words come in -
The art of communication
For the final win.

No careless wastage
Of 'thank you' and 'please'
Just a single usage
A 'sorry' needs.

They say actions speak louder,
But they also say too much;
A few words may be softer,
But they say just enough.

Till I Became The Sea

Standing on the shore
The waves break over me
I watched the final glow
As the sun set across the sea.

The moon rised above
White brilliance on the shore
I basked in its dewy embrace
As the tide came over me.

Walked on below
On to the white ocean floor
Not afraid anymore
Of the mother caressing me.

Further I saw more
Abound in her body life afresh
Such even the stars would envy
The jewels laid bare on her breast.

On and on
The water pushed and roared
And I walked on
Reveling in its roar.

Till I became with her one
Till I became that one
Till the mother was in me
Till I became the sea.
