Tiny pink things.

He had left. Where to, she didn't know. All she knew was that he had left. The dream continued.

A huge mansion, a castle out of a fairy tale. Mona Lisa painted on the tiled stone floor. Trees on either side of the road looking impenetrable. A trap... And he wasn't there. She was alone.

Creatures came flying out from in between the trees. Tiny pink things. Round, with wings. It hit her like hail. She ran. She fell face down on Mona Lisa's cheek. She felt her body swelling.

Was she becoming fat? No. That wouldn't be possible. She turned over and lay flat on her back. The sky was blue. Few clouds drifted by. She ran a hand over her stomach.

And something moved. She screamed and woke up in a cold sweat. She ran a hand over her tummy and felt a small bump that shouldn't be there. She felt the other side of the double bed.

The sheets were crumpled. No one was there. She was alone. Her hand reached to the night stand and brought a small bottle to her face. Her hand shook seeing the tiny pink pills inside. 10% failure rate.

The pills went down the drain and her bed remained empty. Things just go wrong all the time, don't they?
