Raped.

Ages have passed hence
Where you once saw beauty
Is now torn down again, again
The poor, hapless wench.

There was this candle
A flame -
Snuffed out now, for eternity
By their game.

Worthless fools!
You are no man!
A coldblooded murder
A thrill killer

Taking what is not yours
Taking her charm, her life, her all
Another candle snuffed
Another flame dead.

Sbe was a toddler!
She was a mother!
She was a daughter!
She was an old lady!

One. Two. Three. Four.
Candles die, no more light.
Have you no shame people?!
These brutes just walk away!

Why is there no justice?
Just a lot of noise even today.
When will we be free
To walk again as one?

Mother India, why now?
Her 64th day of republic in tears.
Memories carried over
But memories fade.

Their lives gone forever.
They only had yesterdays.

Belated Happy Republic Day.

Actor

Are you real
Or are you fake?
Be an actor -
But on the stage.

My life is not
Your drama to play,
At being a friend
Or whatever you may.

You have something to say?
Do so to my face.
Not behind my back
Or locked in your mind,

Where I'll hurt to know
Or may never find.

Friend you say -
Then treat me so.
Acting is not a charm,
Not to me, anymore.
