House Of Loss

Alone now, so lost
Reduced to a friendly ghost
Haunting her house
With so many memories' stain

Melodies she sings
A fire not put out by rain
About her child and her ring
About a marriage gone insane

A child fills that place
You never knew was empty
Her husband too lost face
Left her a little too early

May be he was not worth it
Or may be he despaired
That his seed was done in
That he was unprepared

She hums a small lullaby
For child now gone
But still alive in her heart
From where these songs are torn

Yet she'll always remember
Can't forget the pain
Living in the house of loss
Where the memories still remain

Waves

Waves, you whisk away
My fears, you belong
To the sea, yet I feel
You're one with me.

Time eternal, you heal
Me, but my memories
Fade to grey, those
Moments that were mine.

Space, extending my life,
Which I cant design,
Which I wish would
Come in as mine.
